Bivi bags create a roomy interior that sleeping bags can fit and be kept dry. The solo or one-man tent types can have mesh for summer breezes and to keep midges at bay. This year we've added a bivy bags to our range. Some have been re-engineered to save weight. Bashes and Bivi bags are often use to compliment each other. Bivi bags or Bivvy can be used as an emergency shelter.
Special Forces have long used Bashas in survival courses. The advantages of bashas compared to traditional tents are faster and easier set-up, greater strength and wind resistance, smaller packing. Bashas are used for emergency and solo camping where a tent maybe too heavy to carry. These are usually hung between 2 posts or trees and a hammock can be slung below for comfort and dry sleeping
